5 Tips for Beginning Social Media

Are you just getting started with your business? Or have you been running your business for a while and are just getting started with a social media presence?

Now that social media has been around for over a decade, and the companies regularly change their algorithms, it can be a confusing space to market in. This post is meant to give you a guid for what to do if your are just getting started with social media for your small service business.

Tip #1: Spread The Wealth For SEO

When you are first starting out, remember that social media helps with your SEO ranking. In order to flood the first page of the search engine with your business, make a (1) Facebook Page, (2) Twitter account, (3) Instagram account, (4) LinkedIn account and (5) Google My Business page. Make all of your handles be the same as your website URL. Use the same profile image and the same tagline across all platforms. Then push out a lot of good content.

Within a couple of weeks, when someone searches for your business name, your business will pop up multiple times on the first page of Google, and it will be difficult to miss you.
