Case Study: Using Your Competitive Advantage
Working with people who are already in your existing network can sometimes make a branding session so much easier.
But then sometimes it makes it more challenging.
You may already know about the business. This can allow you to go deeper with your branding recommendations. But then, on the other hand, it may be difficult to not assume about what you’re not sure that you know.
For these reasons, when Mario J. Louis Law asked me for branding and marketing guidance, I aimed to not assume that I knew who the team was. In order to do this, I first conducted a BrainPick interview with Mario to understand the backstory of the firm.
Then the information that Mario told me allowed me to do a more thorough competitive analysis.
I was able to discover that Mario J. Louis Law stood above the competition by having much higher (and in some cases more) clients testimonials than their top competitors. Mario told me stories that backed up the lengths people would sometimes go so that he could represent them.
Mario J. Louis Law also has a competitive advantage when it comes to personal injury law. Mario comes from a family of doctors and nurses, and he has medical training himself.
