Introducing Storytelling As A Tool

When you leverage a storytelling narrative for your brand’s content, you can connect with your client’s own emotions. You can also cut out so many boring details by talking in similes, metaphors, and using imagery.

You won’t have to tell people what you’re talking about. They’ll feel connected with what you’re saying in a way that they can’t find the words to describe.

But the key is to tell real and authentic stories.

People can tell when you’re not being honest. This is because we’re hard-wired to connect with stories going back to the beginning of time. Before we even had written language, we’d communicate through memorable stories about where to find food and how to stay safe. This is evidenced in the earliest forms of art found in Lascaux, France; the Serra da Capivara in Brazil, and the Caves of Altamira in Spain.

How To Leverage Storytelling

Storytelling both for literature and for brands follows a structure that gets the reader identifying with the protagonist. But this protagonist has a problem they need to fix by going on some kind of journey.
