The site menu is one of the strongest elements of your entire site and is how people will be able to get to where they want to go. Think of your site menu as an outline.
The larger and more important points can act as buckets that contain drop-down menus to more granular content. Here keep in mind that less is more.
Your site menu should work to get people to click on items. You don’t want to overwhelm them or distract them.
