A photographer can choose to be very much in the center of action and capture very impactful scenes. Or a photographer can position themselves behind what is often overlooked and create an image of wonder.

Vizcaya Gardens in Miami is a peaceful vacation from the bustling city outside its grounds. Here it’s easy for a visitor to be transported to another time and place, possibly when the world is a little more perfect and where everything is a little easier. A place and time where people are allowed to lounge by a fountain and think.

Who is this woman in the photo? What kind of world does she live in? What does the image lead you to wonder about?
