Sometimes life can have a way of throwing you some nasty breaks. But if you slow down enough to ponder what is going on, you can find the silver lining in your situation. I had been having a particularly rough time in my professional and personal life, so I decided to give it all a hard stop for three weeks and travel a route that I had taken nearly twenty years earlier when life was much simpler.
