Top Problems Beginning Marketers Have With Content Strategy

Content marketing can be extremely frustrating. You can carry out some of the best strategies. But even when you do, it may take months for others to notice your business.

In the interim, you don’t know what strategies to double down on and what to abandon.

For this reason alone, I talk to a lot of business owners who have grown concerned about the future of their business and how they can show up to their audience as an authority in their field.

In this blog post, I’ll outline the common problems I see business owners make when they do their own marketing. Then I’ll say what can be done to fix this.

Problem 1: Chasing Too Many Ideas

Are you the kind of person who gets excited about a bright idea? Then do you chase it? Only later you find yourself in a mire of problems? And in the end you don’t reach your goals?

If you’re thinking that this doesn’t describe you, then think again.

What this may look like is someone who has a podcast, Youtube channel, AND a blog. But, they don’t have an email list. Or if they have an email list, they don’t regularly reach out to their subscribers.
