Email marketing. Seo. Social media marketing. Blogging. So many tactics. It’s enough to make your head spin. And even more so when you’re running your own micro-business.

When I started my own business, I made a plan. Then I put my plan into action. It worked.

That got me in touch with micro-business owners who had been running their own marketing and sales, and missing out on opportunities. As I got more experience as a micro-business owner, I learned that I too was missing out on valuable opportunities.

This article tells you what my clients and I all did wrong when we set up our sales and marketing funnels. The hope is that you’ll learn from our errors and not walk in our shoes. But instead, you’ll build your own road to success.

You think that if you build it, they’ll come.

Are you the kind of person who gets excited about a new project?

I am.

I’m good at making plans and carrying them out. But along the way, I get very excited about a project and my hopes are set on a glorious future outcome.

Unfortunately, I get my hopes dashed sometimes when my plans don’t work out.
