Do you remember back when you were a kid and your parents would read stories to you? In my house, that was such a treasured time to spend with my parents and grandparents. Our family still puts a premium on storytime for the kids and stories that my mom’s cousins pass down of generations past.
In marketing, the term storytelling has (thankfully) been quite popular for the past several years. I first caught onto what story in marketing was after reading All Marketers Tell Stories by Seth Godin (formerly All Marketers Are Liars). I remember finishing this book on a flight to visit a friend in Florida.
