Connecting and Collaborating with Buffer
If you look at some of the earliest posts of this blog, I wrote quite a bit on community management and social media marketing. For a 4-year period I was a leader in both capacities in my salaried positions.
This is one reason why I was an active member in the Buffer Community and I regularly attended their weekly Twitter chats.

Then, when I used my LinkedIn networking strategy, I was able to leverage these features to make connections and start conversations with people in a similar space.
The Buffer community looks different these days, and I don’t participate regularly in any Twitter chats anymore. But this experience gave me a stronger reason to focus on the humanness in a brand to make real connections happen.
