Make A Leap Interviews

I come from an Italian-American family, so when I learned I was eligible to become an Italian citizen, I decided to go for it. In preparation for a possible move to Italy (or somewhere else in Europe), I thought of what I could do for work. This made me think of working as an independent language teacher or coach. In order to learn more about this landscape, I used a snowball strategy to meet people in my extended network who work in this field.

This idea turned into a much larger project than originally ideated. I ended up interviewing on video and via blog posts three dozen independent language teachers. Most are in Italy, but others live in other parts of Europe, and one is in Peru. Below are the interviews in reverse chronological order that I conducted.
